  Tennessee Williams/New Orleans Literary Festival - The festival is an annual five-day celebration held in late March, which showcases national and regional scholars, writers, and performing artists. Programs include panel discussions, theatrical performances, a one-act play competition, lectures, literary walking tours, musical performances, and a bookfair.
  Wednesday at the Square - Wednesday at the Square is the Downtown Development District's 12-week free concert series that begins April 6, 2005 and ends June 22, 2005. Concerts are held every Wednesday from 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm in beautiful Lafayette Square on St. Charles Ave. across from Gallier Hall.
